Planned launch pricing

Pricing

Every price Third Shift plans to charge at launch, on one page. Shift workers get enough surprises from their schedules; they shouldn't get any from a bill.

Not purchasable today

Programs open at launch, and the waitlist decides onboarding order. Nothing on this page is a checkout, and nothing is prescribed today.

Start without a prescription

Entry, one-time

Circadian assessment + protocol

$79one time, planned

  • A structured assessment of your schedule, your sleep window, and where they collide
  • A written personal protocol: nap timing, light timing, melatonin timing, caffeine cutoffs
  • Built on the published AASM practice parameters for circadian rhythm sleep disorders[2]
  • Over-the-counter measures only. No prescription, nothing controlled, no strings

This is planned as the first program to open, because it doesn't need a prescription pathway to be useful. The protocol's parts carry published evidence grades: planned napping is rated Standard, timed light exposure and melatonin before daytime sleep are rated Guideline, and deliberate caffeine use is rated Option.[2]

A protocol is not a mattress ad. It's specific hours, specific light, and a specific order of operations for your actual rotation, signed by a clinician who read your schedule.

Core sleep programs

Core program

Sleep program

$89per month, planned

For when the protocol alone isn't enough. Non-controlled, first-line prescription options (ramelteon, low-dose doxepin, trazodone), prescribed only where a licensed clinician decides they fit your case.

Straight about off-label: trazodone is FDA-approved as an antidepressant, and its use for insomnia is off-label. Plenty of night workers already know that. If it's proposed for you, the visit will say so in these same plain words.

Core program

Shift work disorder evaluation

$119per month, planned

A structured, diagnosis-first evaluation for shift work disorder: your history, your symptom pattern mapped against your schedule, and a treatment plan where non-drug care leads.

One honest line about prescriptions: some medication options for shift work disorder are federally controlled substances, and whether a telehealth visit can prescribe them at launch depends on federal telemedicine rules at that time. If an in-person exam is required, we'll say so before you pay anything.

Weight management

Weight care sits inside a night-shift clinic on purpose. In UK Biobank, measured lifestyle factors explained 31.3% of the association between shift work and depression, and BMI alone accounted for 14.6%.[1] Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide programs: a discounted first month, then a plan term, with longer terms at the lower effective monthly rate.

At launch, every weight program includes

  • Online medical intake reviewed by a licensed clinician
  • Prescription only if the clinician decides it's appropriate
  • Medication shipped to your door if prescribed
  • Check-ins and dose reviews scheduled around your shifts
  • Message-based access to your care team
  • Meal and movement guidance written for nights, not against them

Mental health add-on

$99per month, planned

SSRI-based, non-controlled mental health care that attaches to any core program. The evidence for pairing it with shift work is not subtle: UK Biobank found 22% higher depression risk among shift workers,[1] and a 2019 meta-analysis found 33% higher odds of depressive symptoms, with the association stronger in women.[3]

How the add-on behaves

  • Screening first: it starts with validated screening tools and a clinician conversation, not a prescription form.
  • Non-controlled only: nothing in this add-on is a controlled substance.
  • Not crisis care: in a mental health crisis, call or text 988 now rather than waiting on any program, ours included.

Fair questions

Can I buy any of this today?

No. There is no checkout on this site. Programs open at launch, and the waitlist decides onboarding order. Pricing is posted now so you can hold us to it later.

Will you prescribe stimulants or wake-promoting drugs?

Not through this site today, and we won't pre-sell that decision. Some shift work disorder medications are federally controlled, and whether telehealth can prescribe them at launch depends on federal telemedicine rules at that time. Non-drug care leads every plan regardless.

Why does a sleep clinic sell weight care?

Because the evidence connects them. In UK Biobank, BMI was the single largest measured mediator between shift work and depression, at 14.6% of the association.[1] Splitting the care across two unrelated providers is how that connection gets missed.

What happens if a clinician says no?

Then no prescription happens. Every program runs through a licensed clinician's review at launch, and the answer can be no. We'd rather lose the sale than write a script that shouldn't exist.
